Favorite Pic of the Episode:"Shichika's brilliant tactic part 1"
Heh. I've read the volume 1 of the novel at AX09' but I don't remember the dialog and character interaction being this damn funny. Just imagine your mainstream Shounen titles with an... IQ of 20 while pointing out its own cliches, intentionally. It's pure gold I tell you! Where should I start? Character introduction might be a good idea since there isn't much in terms of plot.

That's Shirasagi. He's part of the Maniwa Corps. If you're familiar with him from the novel or episode 2, you're good with what I typed above. For others, he talks backwards! He will probably hold the record for the shortest lifespan of any anime character for a while. Togame was certainly ecstatic about his death, and I'm sure most of us feel the same. Moving on..
Meet Ginkaku Uneri, the keeper of the second sword, Zantou Namakura. He lives in Gekoku Castle which is in the middle of the dessert with no civilization. This sword allows him to slash an opponent at lightning speed. Since he is basically confined in a small room in his castle, you would think that the action would be uninteresting. Far from it because I was engaged the whole time. Again, the beauty of NishiOishin's work comes into play.

Shichika's brilliant tactic: since Ginkaku is confined in a small room, Shichika thought it would be a great idea to somehow lure him out and ambush him. To do that, he suggests Togame to step into his room and get sliced in half like Shirasagi. Ginkaku cannot clutter his room with corpses so he must step outside to dispose of the body pieces. At which point Shichika will ambush him. LOL
Other "haha" moments:

- When Togame suggests to have Ginkaku bleed to death instead of fighting
- The main reason why Shichika wanted Togame to stand behind him during his battle
- Togame ordering Shichika to keep his bottoms on because she doesn't want people to see her walking with a hentai companion, resorting to rocks being thrown at her
- Togame getting seasick at the very beginning
