This is the second anime of Anime no Chikara project which is scheduled to air in April replacing... So-ra-no-wo-to. It is being directed by Jun Matsumoto and being produced by A-1 Pictures.
Summary:
The story is set in Shanghai in 1931, when the Imperial Japanese Army has been dispatched to mainland China due to the relatively recent First Sino-Japanese War, Russo-Japanese War, and World War I. In this cosmopolitan city of intrigue, there is a special military spy organization called "Sakurai Kikan" that has since been buried in history.

Luna: I'm not too fond of anime with historical setting but I do like the concept of Anime no Chikara featuring original anime. Senkou No Night Raid looks more serious and cinematic. I can't say that I am excited right now but hopefully that will change when more information becomes available.
